This card is another one that has sat as a UFO (unfinished object) for quite a few months and this challenge was the motivation I needed to finish it!
I love this set and DH saw it on eBay and was outbid, then I found a lady locally who was selling it...so DH went straight over and bought it for me...you gotta love that man!!!
I inked the EF 'Textured Textiles' with gold ink, stamped an edge pattern with caramel and then went over it with a gold colour pencil and gold gel pen as my gold ink did not show up enough...but this worked out well, I attached it next to chiffon ribbon to soften the line between the two patterns. I have used flowers that have been inked with gold, but doesn't show up much in this photo and applied gold nail bling to the curve of the dress and black nail bling to the corners....
I love bringing this set out of retirement, but really...classics never retire, they just re-fire!!! What do you think!? Thanks for looking and for your comments, I appreciate them heaps!
